Hi bought one of these rods based on your review. First time out this morning 4 hours fishing . Fished a short stretch of river between to lochs near my home . Never fished there before as I'm into trout bfs on the wee burns and rivers coming off the hills. So I bought a Gekkabijin reel to go with it . Bait was aliexspess crazy flappers. Had 84 perch from 200mm to 340mm in 4 hours. I totally agree on the sensitivity fished 3.5 g and the bite detection was superb.

Also the action off the rod when playing fish was superb. I have a calcutta 2023 bfs reel that I'll try tomorrow on the rod highly recommend this rod .
