Yes ! All that weirdness is still going on today! The first time I was ever in church in my life was at a "Deliverance Church" and at the end of the sermon I was sitting there thinking "that was pretty good" when all of a sudden a woman started screaming like she was being murdered, then about 5 or ten other people joined in, and next thing I know, the ushers were passing out buckets for people to puke the demons out . I went to that church about 4 or 5 times, then decided that i couldn't take any more, and found some place else. Andrew, I think I know what book you were using , and I tried using it too, and went to the author's church and saw pretty much the same things. If we are talking about the same book, that author has long since died, so I won't name it or embarrass anyone, but I had the same thoughts you had about the same things.

Late 60's and early 70's were the times when many people witnesed demon manifestations in this earthly realm. As I browse internet many these kind of situations have been documented by this time. People back then where casting out demons left to right. Praise God !

The problem is that most people who are experts on demons and how to cast them out, and know all the methods and rituals and spells, and able to see demons and talk to them are that way because they are possessed themselves. Most of the literature on demonology is inspired by demons. Evil is clever enough to offer you the armour and weaponry to fight him. Jesus himself was accused of this in Matthew 9:34, 12:24, Mark 3:22, etc. So how do we know the truth? The apostles and many others KNEW Jesus wasn't of the Devil. God will give us wisdom from within. All external sources of wisdom are circumstancial. (GREAT HERESY comes: even the Bible.)
