Android 12 Head Unit 8.9" Screen Carplay&Android Auto Demo

Any way to make CarPlay smoother? I have enabled "high frame rate mode" but there is a choppiness and stutter to the motion. This occurs with 3 recent iPhones on two Android 12 units I have tested. Can the CarPlay connection be improved to a solid 60fps with no stutter? The Joying Android 10 units seemed to achieve this with 'ZLink" so it may be a setting we can change?
