"Do Not Disturb" mode is pretty self explanatory and that naming has a some history in multiple OSs (Android, iOS and even in Windows 11 now), so it's recognizable by the users, renaming it to "Priority" mode doesn't make much sense

I hope so. Fluid animations are the reason why a 60Hz Apple Device almost looks like a 120Hz Android (although I have to say animations are way better since Android 12 already)

That's the only thing I'd give to apple over Android. Apple just kills ot with the animations. However the animations in this video are proof that Android is almost there too!

I feel like google is focusing more on features and ui/ux to cater to more people, which I like more since it makes Android stand out from ios I want better animations too, but I think I can't wait, I feel like they'll get to it soon since they have a near perfect ui/ux in terms of utility and accessibility imo

9:22 clock, colours and photos options under Screen saver is there on older than Android nougat 7. Only the ui is new on dp2 but you can get those option just tap on Current screen saver for other option gear icon for customization.

Just to let you know that I downloaded Developers Preview 1 and I had no issues as far as daily usage is concerned. Also installed Developers Preview 2. So far no problems. In case you face any issue with the installation, you can always go back. Recommend backing up your data before trying it out Developers Preview and betas. Thank you

When Google launched Lollipop with Material Design, it took 3 iterations for it to be 'stable' in Marshmallow (5.0 > 5.1 > 6.0). The same seems to be happening with Material You as well (12.0 > 12.1 or 12L > 13.0). It looks so much better and I'm sure the bugs will be cleared out by the time the stable version launches. 😄

I recently got a Pixel 5 and the proximity sensor is misbehaving. For example tap to wake or Always on Display (AOD) sometimes does not work because the phone thinks it's in a pocket. Also during phone calls the screen sometimes does not dim or if it dims when I put it close to my ear, it does not turn the display back on when I move it away from my ear. I don't know if this is normal behavior for this phone so if you have a Pixel 5 please comment below. Thank you.

Hi! I hope this concern/issue gets noticed. I just got my pixel 6 updated with the March 5 roll out. Here's one thing I hate. They changed the split screen mode mechanism. I used to be able to switch my bottom half with other apps by swiping the home bar. Now, the two apps get swiped. I hope android reverts this back to the old one. It was useful when watching a video for the upper screen then switch between typing notes, msgs, or googling stuff. Can we get that back Google please????? Also, while dragging the center bar to adjust the screens, it shows the icons only. It used to just show the content even while being adjusted. Another issue: the top bar of my Facebook screen where there is a choice to turn on or off the free data, the white bar of the notifs overlaps. Damn. I wish I never updated my software.

While new media player looks kinda cool from the visual perspective, and bigger play/pause is a plus, too, it's just too big. Couldn't they make it a bit smaller? The size of it looked alright in A12. And I hope they absolutely will get rid of this "swipe away the media player in Quick Settings header to hide" gesture - it's just serves no purpose and it's creates some awful back-and-forth since you can't swipe media player away in expanded QS shade even when the media is paused; it also hides the media player on the lockscreen (wtf!); and it will remain hidden in the QS header and on the lockscreen until you stop, dismiss it and start the new media session. Seriously, they shoud've fix it right away in Android 12, make it non-swipable (or didn't introduce this UX in Android 11 in the first place, since there was nothing wrong at all with Android 8+ behavior) Thanks for the vid 👍
