Android 17 resets are OD

could you tell me what the inputs are for the rekkas and the reset? I'm still too new to the character to figure it out for myself. Thank you in advance :)

Hey @pumpingpriest, will be happy to share how the rekka reset inputs are done! First to do a reset using this technique, there needs to be 2 conditions met: 1. You need to have a 214M or 214H rekka ready (a reverse rekka) 2. The opponent needs to be hit by an “overhead” rekka, or a 6L or 6M of a rekka (this usually happens on the 3rd L or M when you are just pressing your rekkas) 3. For this particular reset, it’s usually always better mid-screen or off-corner For condition number 1 to work, it can happen in a few possible scenarios - it could happen after an EX Air-rekka like the one I showed in the video, or it could in a situation where your 236L/M/H already connected. (After an air-rekka, you will always have your 236L/M/H and 214L/M/H ready) After an “overhead” rekka, the person will have a soft-knockdown, which allows you to input 214M or 214H. In my case a 0:08 after the overhead input, I used an the ex reverse rekka, 214H. Alternatively, You can also use 214M, which will also catch up-tech, front-tech or back-tech (you will need to look out for down-tech as wake-up mash may beat your rekka inputs) Because rekka has a tracking function, it will “follow” the opponent even if it whiffs, which happens for my situation. You just need to look out for situations where opponent superdashes and activate EX barrier if he somehow escapes, and have an assist cover you if your EX barrier whiffs Typical command input would be: After the air-ex barrier…at 0:07 j236HLL, 236L(6L), 214HLLL, 22S, run up confirms (this is the ex reset version) Alternatively you could also try: j236HLL, 236L(6L), 214MLLL, 22S, run up confirms (this is the medium rekka, non-ex reset version)

That's way more than I could have possibly asked for😄 I know the rekka reset of the time stamp because of another rekka but I didn't know the ex version you did right here, so I have to thank you again for teaching me🙏 Thanks to you my 17 will be tournamentready in no time
