I have been using Car Play and Android Auto since 2017 and yes Car Play gives better experience. But now with latest Android it has improved a lot. Secondly, before I start driving I always connect phone with Car Play/ Android auto. It is very useful on daily basis.

I think as usual, Apple put better thought into their UI design. That has always been their strength. But, Google is definitely catching up based on what they are trying to do in Android 12. Hopefully, they address all the shortcomings you mentioned. BTW, who uses YT Music? I'm sure Google will scrap that app in the future...

Bro i use it as i can't listen song on KZbin because first of all it doesn't have it and it second i can only listen the song if only i start the video on the phone So these things not only made for you it made for all kind of people with all kind of situation

That’s the most common difference between Apple and google products… Apple always put lot work behind UI design and feel, if you look at the Apple TV it is much much better than Android TV, Apple TV is much more refine, smooth and clean than Android TV and same goes for Apple CarPlay and every other Apple app.. I’m not hating on Google but it always seems like google only put half of their work behind their every project.

Imo Android auto isn't that far behind, although I don't drive so that's another matter. In my observation Android does most things one would generally need. But surely considering that it isn't difficult for Google to improve on this, a premium car driver would surely demand better experience.

@@GyanTherapy in my region apple car play (Middle East) wants youtube premium subscriptions to use on apple car play but android auto is free to use with apps, i installed 3rd party app for youtube music it shows no ads too. I think does apple lot of region locking of features.

Nice video. Have personally used both so can say this video was perfect as i too also observed these things. One more thing which is beneficial with ios is lightning cable which has a better grip than type C. I know there are disadvantages of lightning cable but it works perfect with this. This becomes imp when u dont have wireless connectivity as most of the cars don’t have that feature yet.

Android auto has driving mode. It's built as integration between Google map and Google assistant. You can control it's setting through Maps

Exactly. When I say "navigate to home" android auto opens google maps and Navigation to the place I saved as home in Google maps. In carplay only apple maps opens by default.

I use creta sxo But honestly I never use android auto Because hyundai have their own map in infotainment system. And also we can call anyone without pairing to android auto..just only connect with bluetooth... Basically Hyundai and kia have best infotainment system around 2-3 million range..

Android Auto's UI has been updated about two months ago and It's lot better than the previous one plus mimicking what you see here (07:00) in Apple Car Play. But, I don't like Google maps, sadly, no competitor comes near to it, but it needs a lot of improvements too. Google maps doesn't even show places, labels, metro routes etc, something we can see in our phone's Maps. Their "safety" feature works counter-intuitive and you've to use phone to set a location instead.

Hello Rakesh sir ! ive been following you since you had some 200k followers, Now i want to tell you that i purchased OnePlus 9rt as you suggested it a lot, its been around 3 months and now i get 3 small purple spots on display, No liquid damage, no physical damage, infact i care for my device very much, even not a single scratch has happened, And now i have to repair it under warranty, and use a repaired phone, as OnePlus is not having any replacement policy for this ! I don't know why android auto doesn't work that well with my car (Hyundai grand i10 nios). I tried a lot of times, but it simply doesn't work properly. A lot of jitters, and sometimes the UI gets stuck on the screen.
