How did you install the clarion headunit? The OEM one is from Harman right? The wiring was different when I checked. Clarion unit already comes with wireless AA and CP

I got standard from 2023 unit, and I heard it's also different with 2022 unit. But how to check of the firmware update will be the same, which I put on the other video. Other than those two, I heven't heard, sorry.

Thanks for your video. I have one question. How your mobile data is working when you connect to Raspberry pi via Wifi? Is it some setting in mobile? If mobile data is not working then we will not be able to use Maps and other online stuff !!

@@rahul8984 Thanks for reaching me on this. It depends on every smartphone I think, however my HP will initiate data from two of the connections, if wifi not having it, it will search data from mobile network. I believe it can be done in the setting of the smartphone android 🙏

Thanks for making this video. I tried the steps based on uour video (zero w) but Bluetooth is getting disconnected very often and Android auto is not working any suggestions?

Which PI are using? I heard some friend using other than PI Zero W, such as Zero 2W is having lack of power from only USB data and need to have other power from power USB. Please check if there is similarity problem. Bluetooth is only needed at first step of installation, after connection established, mainly is using WiFi for AA connection. Hope it helps.

I'm being able to make it work with two micro usb cables instead of one. Apparently my car isn't giving out enough power through the usb port to make it work via otg input only. Curiously, once I unplug the usb connected to the power input, it keeps working normally just with the usb otg cable. Uncomfortable though. That, or I am using a weak cable.

Are you using RPi 0W or 02W? I'm using only USB OTG port without problem in 0W. But again, sometimes different HU will give you different output power, it might be the culprit, just a thought. My apology not giving you better answer 🙏

@@tjetjep100 I'm using 02W. Still find it curious that after unplugging power usb cable, it works otg only. Maybe I should get a more powerful cable? How many Amps does yours have?

@@telecaster-freechannel9405 Nope, cable is not the caused, I would think. Since you're using 02W,, might need more power to start the board and when it's in idle, the power is sure enough from the otg port only. Amps from the HU unit?,, No,,, I haven't tested or measured it. 02W has more powerful cpu than 0W and for sure need more Amp from the HU USB. 🙏
