I've used Xperia C3, C4 dual, M4 aqua & Z3 compact. Aur mera Xperia XZ premium abhi bhi mast chal raha hain. For some people like me, Sony is emotion. Wo log OnePlus ki tarah shuru karke bhi comeback kar sakte hain. Agar unko status hi maintain karke chalna hain toh phir apple ki tarah marketing strategy use kar saktein hain. Jaise ki pehele ki tarah ek hi phone ke 3 models (saal mein 2 baar launch) Regular, Compact & ultra variants with practical features & tagde compitition wale hardwares.

Great analysis But what i would like you to consider is product market Fit Sony is not targeting the average user they're products are ment for enthusiasts if you see all of sonys line up are for enthusiasts . And enthusiasts want these features they may have a very low market share but they make huge profits on their phone (exactly like apple) their phone business is very profitable it is actually a brilliant idea if you look at it no brands target the hardcore enthusiaasts like sony does and thats why they are still making phones in 2022 . Just a suggestion when making an analysis on a brand always consider the business perspective especially product market fit this will open insights for you that werent there before but all in all great analysis loved it !

Sony's Product naming scheme , their product advertisement really needs to be improved , they do good advertising for their Cameras and Cinema video tools and they also need to stop their Japnese Ego , If they do partnership work with their different teams (like Alpha cameras , Xperia phones) then no other brand can defeat Sony in every aspect

@@TheHawk007 first thing , I appreciate that you are in science stream and interested in this , We talk about Sony Corporation Private Limited , not only smartphones , Sony cameras doesn't even support Use file transfer , what if I tell you that many of their Cameras doesn't even have Usb charging , Records tell us that sony never listened to their customers (except for sony Alpha7S3) their camera UI is trash but they don't improve it , talking about smartphones We have 99% screen to body ratio phones available but sony makes Thic Bazel phones , they use simple (but complex) android ui , remember SONY VAIO laptops? They offered great value in past but resisted to update their products and now they hardly sell any laptops , Walkman was revolution but after ipods came to market sony didn't do anything as a result , people forgot Walkman. A company needs to listen to their consumers

Sony was more greedy in term of pricing. They used to sell a mediatek entry-level processor phone at Rs. 22000 in 2015 and screen quality was also not that good. Redmi completely destroyed their ego. Samsung was also not that good in term of hardware and software untill galaxy s5. But they have started improving in both department after s5. Galaxy s6 was their first actual flagship product.

In a current situation, Xperia line-up is not about making money, in fact Xperia are sold in loss, they are making devices for a very tiny consumer band. Only professional photographers, Broadcasting teams, and japanese gaming groups. Recently last quarter they made tiny profit. So they are not here to make money right now, they just want to stay. As you see other japanese phone brands exited market, only Sony is left. Also about the naming scheme, Xperia are currently named in Ascending superiority, like Xperia 1 is better than 5 and 5 is better than 10. While that Mark is the edition of that phone. They took this naming scheme from Alpha lineup.
