One thing I noticed about Baba Yaga is that it doesnt prevent you from using the breakers it's hosting. This makes it quite a bit stronger in terms of AI hate.

Interesting that you didn't mention Reaver triggering on trashing Corp cards, and also on the Corp's turn.
@Willingdone8 жыл бұрын
Good point! That would've been nice to mention in the video.

I love using Endless Hunger with Dinosaurus, really helps with the MU and is just a really funny image.

Haha! The insatiable DINO!

I think with inderdiction you're underestimating the value of shutting off stuff like crisium grid and mid run asset rez, like accelerated assembly lines in EtF. Its value is greatly diminished the turn after you play it, but there is still some value in making the corp rez on their turn. Seeing the nasty stuff they have in store for you is still useful.

I can't wait to see your views on the new weyland cards in this pack! When can we expect to see your corp side review?

Working on it tonight. I should have it up later today/early tomorrow.

Reaver works well in prof it's really powerful with Aesop's or just all the trash cards like Clone Chip & SMC.

That's true. I've seen quite a few Professor lists floating around the web.

In one of NetrunnerDB deck comments it was mentioned that you can still use programs hosted on Baba Yaga independently (which sounds like it could be true?) ... if so, that's a fairly strong point since then you do not need the additional breakers for AI hate. Also playing this in shaper you can use sacrifical constructs, which admittedly do nothing more than waste space to ensure you won't lose all your breakers to one effect, but it makes it a bit more viable. BTW how does the hosting really works? On Jinteki.net it cost a click (I think no credits too, but not sure), and I have a faint recollection that it offered to host something already installed too ... is all of this correct? If so, those would be a few more things making it more viable

I generally like your videos, but you use "I think..." a lot. Maybe it's just a pet peeve of mine, but it seems like you could cut a lot of instances, and mix up those that ARE necessary a bit more than you do. Anyway, I agree with your assessment of Baba Yaga 100% - My mind jumped immediately to the insane combos you could pull off (Baba/Switchblade/Inti/Yog in Smoke!), but it just doesn't pan out in practice because of the setup time.

I get stuck in a loop with certain phrases. This must've been an "I think" recording session. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I'll try to be more conscious in the future.

Spencer Nelson the crazy thing is that it works in smoke! But I honestly don't think switchblade is the correct answer because of the noted setup time for stealth. Dagger and Houdini are perfect for Baba as long as you can fit 3 temujin in order to pay for everything. Throw in 3 sacrificial constructs to protect Baba and inti, maybe throw in 1 yog and 1 faerie. It's a good deck already. Net mercur, smoke, and mirror are all you need for stealth and MU.

With 3 diesel, 3 SMC, and 1 or 2 test runs, you can find and install everything fairly quickly. If you don't find this quickly you can always install what you have and scavenge it onto baba later on

Wait, do programs hosted on Baba Yaga still count towards your MU limit?
@Willingdone8 жыл бұрын
Yes, they do. Hosted programs count against your limit unless the card says they don't e.g. Leprechaun netrunnerdb.com/en/card/06019
