I think the battery life is at 0% or it’s either usb broke off (or she got a very powerful virus that made a tablet a brick not a real one but unusable)

My daughter has been bummed out for the past several days because her Samsung tab a 10.1 would not turn on. After watching several videos I realized I would have to take the case apart but didn't have anything thin enough that wasn't metal to pry the backing off. I was going to order one of those tablet repair kits off Amazon when I watched your video with her. She heard you say guitar pick, and since she plays guitar she ran into her room and brought one down. The guitar pick worked perfectly. I disconnected the battery put it back together and then the power button and volume up button reset worked.

I'm having the exact same problem with mine. I don't suppose you found the miracle cure since you posted your issue, have you? It's been three years at this point that I've been holding onto this thing hoping I'll come across a "tablet whisperer" who can revive it. I don't want to put any more money into it than I already did back when Sprint charged me for the insurance deductible, didn't fix it, and gave it back to me to stare at while I continued to pay for the lease and the service it wasn't using until my contract expired. I'm so paranoid that as soon as I toss it, someone will post something that I could have used to fix it.
