I was updating my S21’s software today and now I’m stuck on the “do not turn off target” screen. The volume down and power button command restarts the phone but immediately after displaying the Samsung screen I’m right back at the blue screen. What are my options? Thanks

it's possible, but you may need to know the exact region the phone came from (so you know the correct firmware to download). if you can figure that out then it could work

I'm having this problem where it tells me you do not turn off Target do not disconnect USB cable during the software update I've been on the screen for like an hour and whenever I like reset my phone it just keeps popping up it doesn't let me go into the phone or do anything you just whenever I try to turn on my phone and tells me the same thing I don't know what I'm doing wrong I think my phone's broken can someone please help me oh yeah and another thing is whenever it doesn't pop up my phone flashes when I plug in my charger it flashes white and in black white and black

it sounds like you're in a bootloop. I would try booting into Recovery Mode and choosing the wipe data/factory reset option in an attempt to recover the Android OS back to a bootable state

My volume down key is broken. I just downloaded an update that now when my phone boots up, it always has safe mode on. powering off and restarting doesn't work. I'm so upset with this. currently waiting for the phone to lose its battery life by leaving it on the download mode screen. pressing any of the three buttons doesn't do anything. Fuck the latest update edit: got it to reboot, but its still stuck in safe mode.

Yes, had to use another method. Also phone will not access test screen also. Something seriously wrong with this phone. It's t-mobile and unlocked but only works with t-mobile. Verizon works only on wifi. When I turn off wifi or lose wifi connection I don't get network connection.

explain what happens when it does? are you rebooting your phone in the morning? or is it rebooting on its own in the middle of the night? download mode should only come up if you're rebooting the phone AND holding down multiple buttons at the same time if you're seeing this happen at random then there's likely a hardware issue and you'll want to get it replaced. you could do a factory reset to try and troubleshoot any software related issue, but if you're still under warranty then that's likely the best solution let me know if this helped kzbin.info/door/nowc_KHgjVNj3Y-E-oQ8awjoin
