While this is one of the few defense team that did not really much on the Ultra at the end, it definietly isn't the first. While not fully shown and only told in one of the Mega Monster Battle / Ultraman Zero movies or special, the defense force "Crew GUYS"(Mebius/Mirai Hibini's team) after the Ultraman Mebius series were really really competent. In fact they were so competent at defeating kaijus themselves they went extinct lmao.

The one thing about nobody focuses on, is the main themes. For instance, the theme of Ultraman Blazar is that it is better to learn to understand each other, rather than annihilate each other out of fear. Varallon represents everything wrong with annihilation out of fear, as it only exists because both sides chose destruction out of fear. Meanwhile, Gento & Blazar represent understanding others, as they unite because of their unified goal, they only gain the tilsonite sword when they understand each other, & even though Blazar is an alien, it has become Gento's comrade. And this doesn't just apply to Blazar. Decker's biggest theme was that cooperation is better than control (shown with spheres and the alliance). Z's biggest theme was ultimately the importance of empathy, as Haruki learned to care for those he killed, while Celebro didn't care at all & did whatever he wanted regardless of the consequences. Now, Trigger wasn't the best series, but I think the main theme was obsessions. If Kengo hadn't realized that he was still human, he would've drove himself to fight to death. Ignis had an obsession of revenge for Hudram, but he eventually realized he couldn't prioritize it over his friends. Carmeara on the other hand, kept wanting things to go back to the way they were. At one point, Yuna points out that the unstable eternity core could lead to the end of the universe, which Carmeara says it's fine as she'll have Trigger. Yuna then proceeds to call out the fact that that makes no sense, and she's right. If the universe ends, Carmeara won't have Trigger. But because of her obsession, she can't stop.

Honestly i found it unique that blazar used a spear of light instead of a beam to finish enemies. I thought that was his version of the beam but it was an even bigger surprise when they showed it at the end instead.

The Blazar Kousen really reminds me of Ultraman Fighting Evolution Rebirth Spacium Kousen. Both of them shows a lot of power, both Blazar and OG Ultraman also struggled from the recoil of the beam. Both beams are also seen to be very destructive.

It's hard not to forget any exciting moments from Ultraman Blazar, and yes, I know we're just getting started with Arc already. But I feel this is a little bit of unfinished business here, so I'll go ahead and say about these highlights from the final episode of Ultraman Blazar from six months ago.... because this week....it IS from 6 months ago. The final boss, Valeron, is strong. With a buzzsaw on his chest, powerful claws, and lethal eggs that explodes with the power of 5 megaton bombs, he almost knocked the tractory of the Moon on a collision course with the Earth, but Blazar pushed the Moon out of the way...even as his powers were siphoned out by Valeron, not too many Ultras can do that. Or when he finally spoke, telling Gento " We....Got.... This! "...how moving 🥲. But the big, BIG moment was finally unleashing his Kosen Beam. Combining the ring and the bracelet made by his son Jun, a new power was born. Having unique powers, abilities and weapons ( the Spiral Burrade, Rainbow Blade ( Nijikagatchi Stone ), Tilosonite Sword ( Garamon Stone ), the Tilosoford Lancer and his armor ( Firdran / Fyderian Stone ) ) is great, but nothing compares to having a finisher beam of your own....and THAT'S what he got. You could say for a Quasi-Nethanderal Neo-Primitive Hunter turned Warrior, THIS was the final notch of his evolutionary ladder, some call it the Blazar Beam, I call it the Burradium Beam, because it's the best of everything he has in one powerful finisher, and it shows in EPIC fashion here. And with that, that sums it up for me on Ultraman Blazar, thanks for the earlier ❤ to some of my comment/reactions from the series, and I'm looking forward to your highlight moments from the new series, and Blazar's successor, Arc later on down the road....and 🤞for a collaboration between Arc and Blazar, it's been 2 years since the last one ( Decker and Trigger, three collaborations, five episodes: 7, 8, 19, 24 and 25 ), we're ready for one in Arc! Three cheers for our Ultra-Monke ( hip, hip aaarrrrooo! 3x ) and that 🤲 pose of his. Arc's just getting started, so, let's run to it! Try not to tire out quickly though! 😊
