Actually it's not. Sampling in pop music began in the sixties. The Beatles for example used sampling in Yellow submarine. But this is a cool track anyway. :)

The first sampled record is either John Kongas ‘He’s Gonna Step on You Again' (later covered by Happy Mondays) or the French Burundi Black release (later remixed to great effect by Rusty Egan) - both singles from 1971 sample the Burundi drummers and loop it.

Esistono due versioni: La Mosca è la prima versione del brano, uscita nel 1979 e cantata da Louiselle, Andromeda è la seconda versione, uscita nel 1981 e cantata da un'altra cantante
