Do you downtune your bass an octave below the guitars no matter what the tuning is?

F and lower I usually do the same octave, unless I specifically want the sorta rumbly effect you get from having a bass in F0 and below like in the bigger drops in this song. But like the verse riff towards the beginning, the bass is in the same octave.
