@@derekcages3725 yeah and that whole evolution line is one of my faves for that reason. But there's a lot of other media references in digimon, pokémon has it for sure. Like tyranitar is gojira or at least the fan theory goes that way anyway. Pokémon sticks to mythology more so though which is why I love pokémon for that reason.

Andromon is one of most underrated Digimon. It´s really interesting, how he ha no emotion and will but slowly gets it while fighting along the Digi Destined Kids. I would love to see his growth until he becomes Hi Andromon and becomes completely sentient on any Digimon series.
