Pryor to the finale, one of the writers featured the Andros and Ashley kiss in the script that would be pitched days laters to their production company, Saban. But the report and response from Saban said it had it be cut from the episode because it had to be kept “kid friendly”. The report also said that Fox would SUE Power Rangers and cut it from their programing schedule if they air the kiss

These two have genuinely good chemistry. I'm glad that they let is burn slow, but they also actually become a couple well before the end of the season so we get to see them just being together. No forced relationship drama or stupid misunderstanding episodes where one of them forgot the other's birthday or stuff like that, just real people learning from eachother and being wholesome. It's a very mature take, for any show let alone Power Rangers

Just like Cassie and the Phatom Ranger, I had always liked Cassie with TJ she don't know who the Phatom Ranger really was I had heard though the grapevine it's Billy the Original Blue Mighty Morphin Power Ranger. So we don't know, I had also heard that Cassie and the Phatom Ranger dated. The writers should of gotten TJ and Cassie together romantically instead. It was hinted at when they've first met like it was with Preston and Sarah until the writers pulled a fast one and set Preston up with Sandy instead. Yeah Mike and Emily dated at the end of Power Rangers Samurai and Kevin and Mia walked off together and it was hinted at Mia liked Kevin more so than Jaydan. But didn't Carlos and Ashley dated at onetime?
