The Star Fox 64 Restored OST is one of the many results following the "Gigaleaks of Nintendo" from July 24th and 25th, 2020. Found in the files of the game were not only all of the uncompressed voice lines, but also uncompressed instrument samples for the music, as well as the MIDI sequences used in the game to perform the music. Using the instrument samples and MIDI sequences, I was able to recreate the entire soundtrack to Star Fox 64 in the highest quality we have ever heard.

I remember how shocked I was the first time I got to Andross on the Hard path and discovered after the first phase what Andross had done to himself. Mutilated and twisted into an oversized floating brain and eyeballs. What kind of horrific scientific experimentation and processes did he put himself through to become that?

Well, if you analyze well, Andross lives in the core of the planet, and he has influence on the planet surface, via telekinesis. Maybe to gain power he needed to destroy his body.

Restored 64 audio should've been how the 3DS version did their soundtrack.

Weren't this files hacked from nintendo? Maybe Nintendo didn't allow the files to go out of Main Nintendo but the 3DS Remakes of N64 Games were made by Third Parties... I don't remember StarFox's Third Party Remaker but Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask had "Grezzo". So in Theory they had to remake everything from having the game and not having the original developer files which is why they re-recordered everything, there's no trace of the original
