I agree this isn't his usual sound and it's different, but we have to recognize that he's not just Andy from BVB. He's an artist, therefore it's good for him to reach out beyond his musical comfort zone and experiment! He's not leaving BVB, and his message is great, so I really have no problem if he wants to start a side project to expand himself. I think it's brave and smart of him. Love him no matter what

From what I understand he's actually already written somewhere around 15 songs but this was more just the intro song to give an idea of what's to come and let people get use to the idea of Andy having a side project. The delay could be that it is still only a side project and BVB is still his main priority and recording songs can take a good deal of time and he could be making more videos for the songs as well. But I'm also not 100% sure on all that it's just my understanding.
