Excellent work!! Very nicely done! I marched in Texas State UIL competition in the early 80s to a similar arrangement and have always carried a fondness for that tune eversense. Great job!

Extraordinary!!!! This got the hairs on my arms standing up. You deserve recognition for your efforts on this. I hope Chuck sees it at some point. I can't even imagine how difficult it was to get all this lined up so well!

Absolutely fantastic. Thank you. This takes me back to listening to this on the original LPs. Lost those in a move sadly.

Love that the high "B" in the intro is nailed- and put in an iso mid-screen! Deservedly so!! Thanks for a great memory from a much younger me- and I heartily second the idea below for "Tiger of San Pedro" next!!! Looking forward to that HUGE double G at the end of that monster!

Spectacular. Arrangement, playing, coordination. Been showing to my jazz ensembles the last two years. They call them "Andy" videos.

Are you the Andy Classen that wrote the field show arrangements for River Falls high school in the 90's? If so, I played trombone and we kicked butt thanks to you! Btw Chuck is one of my faves and I'm learning "feels so good" and "children of sanchez"for trombone. Tough stuff!

I just saw this. Yes, I wrote RF drill from 1985 till Leroy retired. All great bands.

Sounds great!! Can you tell me about your recording setup? What mic do you use? Software? Keep making awesome music!

Audio Technica 4050CM5, Baehringer audio interface into a 2012 MacBook Pro. Logic Pro X. Don't need all of that. You can do it with a large diaphram USB mic and GarageBand. Hope that helps.

Buy a Valve Trombone. They work great for stuff like this. I have a C, don't have to learn new fingering.
