Last year this song and video became personal to our family... I used to think that this was an awesome track and video in all of it's sadness and it sometimes made me cry. Then came 12th of June 2017 and our girl at the age seven was admitted to hospital for severe pain in limbs, long nosebleeds, lots of bluemarks appearing by themselves and low fewer that lasted for days... We got the official diagnose in few days and it felt like the bottom fell off our lives... Now it's 2months and 2 days after our battle against the AML (Acute Myeloic Leukemia) ended... We had one relapse also on the way and therefore it was a long and draining fight that took 14,5 months from the first day in the hospital until her untimely death in her own bed on 27th of august... Our daughter's 8th birthday was spent in the hospital... Most of that time we had to be in the hospital, at least for a visit... This year we had a beautiful summer together with our beautiful Mimosa, but the drugs just didn't work on this multiresistant form of Leukemia... This song is one of those that help me in dealing with the sorrow and the longing... It is the most difficult thing to accept that the little new life has ended and we get to live old instead of her... Nothing else is so unfair as this is... So I can perfectly imagine the pain with the parents... It's like living in a horror movie that never ends... A living nightmare and the pain tears you apart every day when you stop to think of your loved one... How could you not, such a beautiful part of one's life... So I say from the bottom of my heart: My condolenses, this is a shock that never leaves you... Also I wish to say to Andy many thanks for making this song!!! Fuck cancer in all of it's forms!!! To all I wish understanding of how irreplaceable we all are to someone and hope you enjoy the life that you have been given!!! What we all have is unique to ourselves and priceless, I've learned through this rough path even more of the value of our lives... Cherish the moments, we never can truly tell that which will be our last!!!

@officialjarenmusic I really love what you do, it touches me deep to read your reply ❤It's truly creepily well pictured in this video, how the levels of sorrow go and the world seems so different when you are in the hospital with other parents... everyone struggling against despair and trying to stay positive for their own child... Looking back at it feels like we were like zombies on some level, as it can be said, the sun still shines but never the same way!

It's been on repeat for a week now. I even sleep hearing it. 15 years listening to trance nothing gave me such a powerful emotional experience. Andy Duguid is very different from any other trance Dj. The whole on the Edge album is worth hearing. THANK YOU ANDY for such a song.

By now, we all know this track was dedicated to Olivia, but do you really know what's going on in the video? Basically she's experiencing the 5 stages before death. -Denial and Isolation -Anger -Bargaining -Depression and last but not least -Acceptance They are shown through out the video.

I love this track. An excellent trance piece after the slow and sad start. Whoever created that video concept is a bloody genius. I read the background to this track, the reason for its existence, and the video is PERFECT. Artistic, but perfect nonetheless; symbolically describing the last few moments of her life with deep emotion. I cried my bloody eyes out. It's pain like what this conveys that makes you want to believe in an afterlife. Massive Kudos to everyone involved in bringing this to life.

I've listened to a lot of music in my day and in the last decade it's been EDM. Mostly vocal trance, progressive trance. I've stuck with it because it effects me deeply. I can't really explain it but it's got a grip on me. I've felt so much more from this genre of music than I ever have with other types and I've listened to just about all of them. With that being said, this track, of all I've ever heard in my life, stops me. I learned the story behind it some time after I first heard it, which only makes it even deeper. Thanks Andy.
