My competitive nature was crushed. I just wrapped my Summer semester and decided to apply at a local dealership this week. No experience in car sales at all. I'm burning through these videoes. idk what the dealership's training is like but thanks to these, I know I will immediately set myself apart. I can appreciate the end game here. This is the age of the internet. All these tactics have been exposed over and over again. It's important to gain respect and win the customer over with sincerity and knowledge. This I can appreciate, we have a be flexible coupon, we never miss, 99% of our customers are happy. We're the #1 dealership.... these are for the gullible. When you can get an educated and experienced customer to acquiesce based on impressive transitions and having that extra most salesmen don't! That's what's gonna separate you and move you to another level. These guys are speaking way too fast. They sound like salesman. No infection, pitch, sincerity.

Because you can’t handle the truth!!!” My coworkers started laughing, the line went quiet at the other side...Then I heard laughing!! I don’t recommended but I just didn’t give a damned so I came up with a shocker in hopes to change the rhythm with the classic movie quote... @@e46mc93 it doesn’t matter IMO, selling anything you need some sort of balance and sincerity, and I didn’t see or hear that in this training. I don’t like the lying and manipulation tactics especially with the “coupon” you give them and just under price their trade to match. It’s very slimey! Or the one about “I’ll send you the coupon for your number and then blatantly lie when they ask why they didn’t get the text.” You can make a living doing things this way but you can’t make a life doing things this way. You have to be able to put your head on the pillow at the end of the night knowing you did right by people and actually cared about them as much as you cared about yourself.
@blakeswalkthroughs2701 Жыл бұрын
I disagree. If you agree to a deal on paper that shows all the figures, you have to be comfortable. If a client is comfortable, a client got a good deal. Perception is reality. A car, a trade in, or anything is only worth What someone is willing to pay. Technically, trade in value is in the eye of the beholder…

Listen I completely get what you’re saying. If I could sum it up by saying, “why be cunning when you could just be honest?” Let me ask you this about the situation regarding the coupon. If he in fact received 99% of what he wanted In his car and was make to feel like he received a deal. My question is who is at a loss? The customer feels like they got a great deal for the value he’s receiving from the car by getting most of what he wanted. The dealership sold another car. That’s a win-win. You just simply don’t like how the transaction was conducted when the customer is simply being unreasonable with their original expectation.
@bromeo22 Жыл бұрын
@@matthewbrown4758how is a customer being unreasonable if they want a specific thing. If you don't got it you just dont got it. Hi, Mr Elliott! I work in a dealership myself and I came from working in a retail Dollar tree store selling little bitty items of $1 each to a huge industry selling big items of a thousands and thousands of dollars such as vehicles. Now I never had any experience in selling vehicles I've never ever worked at another dealership before I came to the one I'm at now. And I've only been there for 10 months. My problem is objections from customers. They say in the lot after I've gone out to greet them is "I'm just looking". And that is happening to me quite a few times and some of the time I managed to get them in the building and sell them. But the times it does not work to get them in the building and all they say is I'm just looking I've noticed my sales manager's face expression as if he is frustrated with me. What can I do to keep my sales manager smiling at me and make them proud of me considering I am a newbie in this type of industry. ☹️ Also I heard from other sales people that this type of business is considered a "cutthroat business." 😳

Andy Elliott trains car salesman not to care about their customers but to make the most money possible per deal off every customer. No I'm not saying making a living should be against the law what should be against the law is willfully keeping information from the customer using certain tactics to confuse them now I understand that this is not illegal but it is unethical just like a lot of things . I value her opinion because we are a team. Also I would go home and making sure it truly fits my budget and is what I want. I never act on emotion. This is NOT MANIPULATION. People in the comment who think this don’t know what they are talking about and are assuming. More than likely aren’t successful, mediocre at best. It’s called INFLUENCE. Influencing someone is the art of empowering others to take an action that you want them to take and they themselves want to take. In other words, it’s the act or power of producing an effect without apparent exertional force or direct exercise of command. On the contrary, manipulation is different. Manipulation is the short-term process of convincing someone to do something against their will or desires. This normally will lead to buyers or sellers remorse and it’s a fast way to develop a bad reputation.

Will you help me with roof sales? My biggest three objections I get is I have to think about it, I need other estimates, and the price is to high. I been doing sales for 5 months and been crushing it but want to get better at overcoming objections

You ever get the customer that drove to your dealership an hour for the car on your lot, had their financing all set up to only needing the purchase order.. and knew the brand better than you? Yeah, I'm that guy. I ended up walking away from the deal. Also, the sales guy ended up being more of a hassle. Funny, his sales manager stopped me before I left, and they were willing to not only give me the deal I wanted. But, apologized for the treatment I got at their dealership. I never went back. The dealership I bought from. No pressure..

Do you have the exact car I’m looking for? (No we don’t) come down and I will make sure we find exactly what you are looking for. (Lying) How can they feel good about wasting the customers time and lying to them??

I’m not going to buy from you if I find you have lied to me. This just doesn’t make sense.

You determine the class of the vehicle there looking for, mention a better model and ask why there are interested in the model they suggested
