I used to think the Bee Gees could have gone on with the same sound after the death of Maurice is had Andy. But now I realize that could not happen. Andy had lower voice. He even stoped singing all they high parts of his own songs as he got into his 20s. Yes, they could have gone on, but I doubt the signature sound would have been exactly the same. But by then it might have been a bit different anyway.

1st concert i ever went to. He was only 3 month younger then me. I went with a younger sister of a friend. She was in love with him and needed someone over 18 to go with her. I was the one chosen. Got beaten up by the friend sister every time he started to sing a new song. Last song of the evening was "Everlasting Love". I was pull from the the top of the concert hall to the stage. She got ahold of his hand , scream my name, next thing Andy and her was holding hands. He knew she wanted someone to see so he held her hand for serval seconds. That evening a new fan was born. One 3 months older then him, one who cry when i heard he was gone. I so glad his music live on what would of been his 60 year of life. He was born March 5, 1958.

@@donnateet1120 no, he was clean for a while before his death but he tried alcohol again which was the straw that broke the camel's back. when you go sober for a long time your tolerance to substances go back down so if you try substances again it will often be catastrophic. that's what happened to him, he ruined his heart from drugs, got better, then sent himself back with retrying his old habits. it's extremely sad and i wish he never did drugs to begin with. if i had a time machine i'd go back to the first time he got his hands on drugs and i would throw them away before he ever tried them. i miss andy a lot

He was so cute and sweet. The kind of guy I would love to have been friends with and the kind of person I would have done anything for, but not dated. Sooo many girls say they’d have loved to have dated him - but me? No. I am too alike to him. Too sensitive. I wish he’d found a strong, loving woman. I don’t like VP & never have. I wish he’d have met & dated Jaclyn Smith- a more down to Earth, more beautiful version of VP!
