Soul deep.. a heart soo tender.. he passed w a broken heart.. Barry said his father passed shortly thereafter stating Andy was his baby.. his joy… Mmmmmm..xoxoox.. so much love this dear family and how grateful they shared so much with us.. Barry nearly died at 18 months w burns covering much of his body.. from scalding water he pulled over i teapot if I recall.. and spent months in the hospital.. what a gift began to sing w his twin brothers when they were just three perhaps… Idk.. Barry was not even nine… xoxox forever The Bee Gees.. send Barry some love while he’s still with us 🤍💚💙♥️💜 Soooo Beautiful all four of them 💖💛🎼💚💙🕉️

Andy singing this Bee Gees song is so nostalgically bittersweet.😔 It's a thought-provoking song already when done by Barry, but ~with Andy singing it slower, along ~with the people shown in the various phases of life, and ~the reality of him passing so young, well, it becomes a tear-jerker. So sad.😢

Only differences really were that Barry had a beard and Andy didn't; age (Andy was born in 1958, Barry in 1946); and height (Barry around 5ft11in, Andy around 5ft6in-5ft8in). All four Gibb brothers were geniuses and when they sang, they sounded like no-one but themselves. The Gibbs' music will stand the test of time.

Worry not on the sadness of Andy. He has repented anyway all of his sins and submitted his imperfections to our Almighty Lord, specially when he called his brother Barry for help. He is a good man and unselfish of his love and care for others. During his sufferings, it was on that moment that the Lord Jesus carry him, because of His Great Love, he's now with the Lord in Heaven. Rest in peace Andy. @@lorrainemyers8515 Barry could sing like Andy, but Andy couldn't sing like Barry. On Andy's last album, it often IS Barry singing parts that we think is Andy. Andy was often too drugged to sing enough to finish songs. He had a contract deadline to meet, and hadn't worked on the album, so Barry had to put together the album without much help from Andy. "Desire" is actually a Bee Gees song, recorded two years earlier by B, R, &M, and Barry tried getting Andy to sing the lead vocals on the recording......he got some of it, but what we hear is Andy dubbed over with Barry for most of it. The copyright registration even says it's performed by the Bee Gees, not Andy. The cool thing, though, is that it is the only song that has all four Gibb Brothers on it.

@@OhJodi69 I disagree , Andy and Barry sound NOTHING alike. Look alike? Yes. Sound alike ? Not at all. And as a devout Andy AND Bee Gees fan, I will tell you that not only did I know they did Desire, I also know that the finished Andy version has a huge Barry sound as he was heavily involved in After Dark album as he was his first two. Andy wasn't as " lost" during that album as he was after and later. I actually saw him a few years later in a show and had the privilege of speaking to him, he was excited and clear and soooo sweet. I knew he had been struggling but didn't ask about ANYTHING other than when I'd have another album to fawn all over to which he replied, " very soon , I hope you'll like it" . I simply said " I can't wait!" . A few short year latee he was gone.😪
