As a teacher, I go through some very hard times because government officers like to harass teachers even though we do our work with bare minimals..... I almost gave up and resigned and then looked at the children I teach, who from very poor backgrounds and then wondered who would fight for them..... This song brought me to tears today. I am a school bus driver and my students are learning this song in music class and they randomly started singing it on the way home from school today. Little did they know it would move me to tears. My dad is completing his last chemo treatment today and then he will be starting radiation. Last fall when he did chemo, his body didn't react the way they wanted it to so I am nervous if chemo worked this time. I haven't been able to see him since last summer due to his weakened immune system and in Sept he had his stomach removed and the day after surgery he had to be resuscitated due to hospital giving him too much pain meds. He was only supposed to be in the hospital for a week and it ended up being a total of 4 surgeries (instead of just 1 surgery) and 19 days. It is hard not being able to see him or be there for him as he is fighting the cancer.

I just really broke down on this song myself. Until 2017 I had the confidence to fight and see it through because I believed in me and now I just have also been to the point I have well, considered and tried drastic action (failing obviously).
