Taking off Waaayyyy behind the rocks, then coming out of nowheresville, only to blast though a solid curtain, then right into a completely vertical lip blast into an airdrop free fall, into...... well, you saw it!!! Showing how it's done Andy deserved to win. I was at Barra surfing that year, the sand bar was insane 5-6+ barrels per wave,some if lucky were one tube all the way across to the beach. Although when the Pros showed up they let you know, by their performance, They were Pros! But, one Pro in the water was like 3 or 4 Joes in the water. Say Hi to Mac,Matt and the local Mex crew that live there for me! Toast!
