Irons was an incredible talent and personality. I think what he was doing even then on relatively basic equipment is still contemporary. And he was absolutely fearless to boot. Just lastly, please, make good choices when they might be difficult ones to make in the heat of the moment. RIP.

Who knows... perhaps by the time his career was over he could have had 5,6,7 world titles. Apart from say Tom Curren, A.I. would be the only guy since M.R. to have the drive and ability to win more than 3 titles. Surfers now win 2 or 3. Four is supremely difficult.
