That meanst being capable to go to war or protect one's family by doing just exactly what is needed, not over-killing, not hesitating and getting killed and therefore the family is left for whatever apocalypse version of a life threat you're going with. The meek are the ''genuinely civilised yet capable of being brutally lethal when every attempt at asking for peace to be allowed to mind yourself and take care of your family. Without a fight or attacks. ''What if I want to talk about peace and understanding ɓut you only want the language of the sword '' A true man is comfortable enough in his masculinity to be able to show appropriate emotion when need and want align with situation/ environment. Or whenever the fuck you want. Crying when something moves you intensively or when you lose someone you love and grief hits hard doesn't in any way make a man any less of a Man, quite the contrary ❤ A manly man is way more attractive if he shows ability to feel and be soft under certain circumstances. It has to do with primal instincts and sexual selection. A woman wants a man that chooses to be by her side through life's ups and downs and feels safe and loved knowing that he diplomatically snuffs out every battle or fight opportunity because even if he would definetly demolish the opponent that would mean that he colluding go to jail or start a long feud with revenge attacks so he evens his temper and values family life above the glory of the victory over the opponent. For me it is ridiculously more romantic to hear a man say he want to live for me and with me, be there to hold me and help me provide for our children.
