I love the transparency in this. I'm a Youth Pastor in Denver & just recently struggled with anxiety. I started to feel like I wasn't enough & would beat myself up when I made mistakes. What I learned from this season in my life was to cast my anxiety on God because he cares for me as the Bible says.

I say write what you want Andy. Write what God wants you to write. Don't worry if the audience doesn't like it; because God will love it! Rap in the style and flow you choose. Take your time and produce a quality album. I understand there are deadlines... but God is right there with you. I've enjoyed everything you put out over the years; not one bad song imo. l do understand where Andy is coming from, it's a process and it's good to see yourself reflecting and in being truthful about this. I have battled in the same way but have received the help that I needed with lots lots of prayer. Christ has really given me a new opportunity to move in a different direction in my life, to help myself and do good for myself.. God's the ultimate care provider.. I really can relate to Andy. I've recently been dealing with anxiety attacks, and overwhelming depression. Now this doesn't mean I think I have mental issues, and that mental issues are the reason for all of this, in fact, I think in my case, a lot of it is spiritual. Anyways, I've been a big fan of Andy Mineo for a few years now, and I still am. So knowing that someone I look up to has dealt with this, gives me a lot of courage to overcome it.

I deal with it on the daily brother, I feel ya. I find it hard having anxiety, you feel that you have no control over your own mind and body. it can affect so many aspects of your life without you even realizing it. it took a lot for me to even admit i had serious anxiety a get help.

I’ve been following Andy since 2013 and know him to be a strong brother in the lord and we are all human and are going to fall victim to are carnal flesh but when we have an encounter with the lord Jesus Christ he separates us from the world and we become a true child of god and in him is our rest every season there is growth through god we are not of this world when Christ is the center of our life the worlds cares, concerns, and heart aches are secondary (not meaning to be unaware or heartless) through Christ is true freedom from anxiety depression pornography anger what ever it maybe pray for this brother the things of this world can be a heavy burden on are hearts and our minds but I want to assure you Christ got that he did that , we’re not atlas we can’t carry the world on are back much love to Andy hope this message reaches somebody that needs it. This happens when we get our eyes off of Jesus and what matters. What Andy said about identity is 💯. The whole thing about knowing you're the best, having a small window of opportunity, seeing guys "pass" you, is actually living for yourself, it's living for you. Jesus said lose your soul, or let go of your life in order to gain it. Priorities of the heart. Cmon Andy, the Lord started a work in you, he's given you a platform but don't let that platform be your identity. What Jesus has done for us needs to be our identity at all times, always. Praying for you Andy. He's given us peace that passes all understanding, what the world cannot give us.
