Okay, the fact Barry puts his Revolver in Jill's face, gets disarmed, explains nothing, & stays to "help" you- but when you talk to him after, he's just like "Yeah I'm not going to explain anything from 2mins ago, bye!" is absolutely *infuriating.* Not really, I could watch Andy play this all day lol. I've enjoyed watching people playing Resident Evil since the first game. Man I'm old. I was tiny then tho. And still too afraid to play myself. But also seen all of them too many times to still be eager to play and the new ones aren't really my jam. Nice for watching though. Those remakes of 2 and 3 look phenomenal. Edit: Forgot to put a "story time" warning. Or maybe "ramble warning".

I personally don't mind his lack of inventory organization. He's playing this for our entertainment. Watching someone sort thru menus isn't exactly riveting action. And even if it isn't for our benefit, Andy's refusal to care always amuses me. 😆

In Luke's Bloodborne streams he messed around with the runes and such off-stream because he knew it would be tedious and because he wanted to take the time then to see which ones were useful or not. Didn't stop people from fussing at him in the chat about it though, but he wasn't trying to min-max with the game. I don't do much min-maxing in it either; especially with the clothes unless I know I should have high poison resistance or frenzy resistance on for certain areas.

I wish this game 1) let you just put the ink ribbons next to the typewriter so you don’t have to go to the box every time you want to save 2) let you drop items that the game forced you to pick up like that knife in the spider room, even if you could only put it back where you got it. 3) alway had Andy narrating over it (a long shot I know but it is the best bit)

Loving this! I’m actually playing through “Resident Evil 4” for the very first time and enjoying it. While it’s not scary, it’s a lot of fun. (My first “RE” game was “RE: 7”. I had an N64 back in the ‘90s and missed out and subsequently never got into the series until recently. But I loved “RE: 7”. Probably one of my favorite horror games)

More tips, if the map shows a room as red it means there's still something to find/do in it and in terms of inventory management, put your ink ribbon in the slot you're in as you open a box, health above it, guns etc below, easy, takes no time or effort and box management pretty much takes care of itself from then on in.

The second time he fought the snake was almost identical to the first time. He missed with one grenade and was bitten twice each time while using his mixed herbs and the same number of grenades as well. The only difference was him unlocking the other door prior thus being able to discard the key while entering the boss room.

Gives an example of how not to solve a puzzle trap and a complicated button and cylinder device... after nearly getting killed by an elite air dropped ninja zom-doggo. And don't forget the boulder traps with wonky camera angles!.. "Its a good game, really!" Loads of fun, to watch.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's requiem has a diegetic difficulty slider in the color you choose at the start, green is hard, red medium, and blue easy.

Each color boosts the corresponding attribute of your main mob and has some light gameplay changes, Red gives tanky mobs that would be the most difficult but managing sanity is VERY hard early game, and green WILL drain more sanity than you can restore. Well the red final boss is harder because you won't be hit with sanity depuffs in the fight, but the red extra damage buff just means you can focus on healing health instead of splitting.

The secret rune is VERY useful for a green playthrough in particular, but it doesn't come up until the RNG hell that is getting your green/healing rune, also you CAN combine spells without the recipes, it makes the game much easier, and is quite fun to guess based on the rune meanings.

actually this is his 4th 2 hour vid lol and the game can be speed run in less then 1 hour 20 min, pretty sure he is goofing around with terrible inventory management and constant backtracking on purpose so he can have something to stream all month.

It's been a long time since he's played it and he played only a bit of the remaster as Chris before. There are also some changes in the remaster from the original. I don't at all blame him for backtracking, and that's in part to the appalling small inventory space. With Resi 7's being based on the size of the items rather than just ordinary slots, I end up doing backtracking to save rooms to drop off stuff and shift stuff around to make room for a larger item (like the shotgun). I personally am glad Andy is taking it slow and just having fun. It'd be boring af if he did a speed-run of it.

never said I blamed him or that I didn't like it, I enjoy every thing these guys do, was just pointing out he could have just as easily finished the game in 1 stream, made it just as entertaining, and then played something else each week to keep it fresh rather then the same game for 5 weeks in a row. Andy himself even said he couldn't believe he was taking so long whether he played it along time ago or not is irrelevant, most people do it in 2-3 hours on their first run because it is just that short, wasn't bashing him was just an opinion but I guess I forgot people are not allowed to have one of those unless they agree with yours huh?
