Corey Wong' is a member of Vulfpeck. I love Andy's take on why he's doing his best music in his later years. A comment on Taylor Swift - she co-writes her hits with whoever the hottest current trendy songwriter is, and when he's not the hottest thing any more, she co-writes with the new hottest pop songwriter. It's a brilliant strategy, actually. It's the Madonna playbook. Taylor is a brilliant manager of her own career. But I do prefer artists who write their own songs and don't have a goal of capitalizing on whatever the new cool hip trendy thing is. I'm not putting that down - I'm saying I don't like it, not that others shouldn't. Sorry, I'm rambling. REALLY enjoyed this interview!
