Jamming to his music is just fun . The somewhat predictability makes it freeing and comfortable to express yourself . And he isn't just laying down light speed in a barrage for minutes on end . Awesome player that must be a hoot to jam with . :)

Because most people don't care about instrumental guitar music. They want a human voice and lyrics. Andy is freakishly great and it's a true shame that he is so esoteric outside the guitar community.

yep. he writes melodies and great pop SONGS that just happen to use guitar instead of vocals. no mindless shredding, just killer guitar-based melodic playing and his impeccable tone and touch. great player and super nice person too. rare combo these days...

Such tasty guitar playing, I mean I feel that his style is so so refined, incredibly varied, and everything I have heard so far from him I simply love 100%. Sure admire other guitarists out there but I CAN NOT say I like EVERYTHING they play. This dude takes you by surprise!!!!!! And every single note this guitarist puts out, in every song he offers, is just tops!!! The guitar music played & created by him sends me to another planetarium, uffff!!!

When Steve Vai calls you the best guitar player in the world….yyyyeah..you got it. LOL! I used to be partners in Firewater Bar and Grill, (Now the Gas Monkey) we had great music (Eric Johnson, Maroon 5, Rascal Flatts, John Popper to name a few). Andy did our jingle with the Loomis Agency. Met him a few times. Super humble. Great guy. Always a smile when you see him again. I've never heard a better sound IMO.

Just had Andys Tech Jim do work on both my At 1s standard tuning and Eb Both really play great now and are strobbed correctly. He setup and fixed my Zager also stock from factory and another Strat which is a Blackmore scalloped neck which needed love. Jim is working a tele for me right now doing a 10 radius and installing Greg Koch fishmans that one should be done next week. Thanks Andy for steering me to Jim and I did have fun ! Andy was kind enough to let me scope his at1 after Eric Johnson show in Dallas and sent me to Jim to get mine fixed. I played one all night long could not put it down about 8 hours straight.. Im so busy at moment I cant work on my own guitars and in this case im glad I did not.. I missed this show had no idea ....

Follow up asked Jim to do his magic to a guitar I partially made awhile ago. it had 7.25 we both came to mutual partial agreement that it needed 10 instead. So I agreed to have Jim round the edges like his own guitar he made TELE and do 10 on fretboard and just let me do finish on it since neck would be all stark white again.. It plays so great Ive not matched the color yet and yea its dirty from me playing it non stop sue me Ill stain over that DNA thanks Jim.. In Jims defense he will cringe at the notion I wont clean it first but it needs some mojo... Trust me Jim I kinda know what im doing... Greg Koch does not own anything as special as this Tele now because mine is 5lbs and has his Fishmans in it but its mine there are many like it but this one is mine... This is my weapon and this is my gun this is for fighting and this is for fun.... sound off your left shoulder
