Eian Aldich, thanks for sharing Andy Timmons' videos, he is great!

The thing that blows me away about Andy Timmons is he's so capable of ultra-fast playing but passes in favour of melody and brilliant songwriting. Anything fast he plays has it's purpose and it's never just playing fast for the sake of it.

I saw Andy’s trio open for Racer X and an Ibanez anniversary party at Namm. He made time stand still. It was a surreal and transcending performance.

Do you know what that song is at the beginning, before "Super 70's"?

CoffeeDrinker71 Just a band jam they do every show. Don't think there is a title.

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of. I was hoping to find a studio recording of it. When they played it in Indy it was spectacular.

He said in in a gig that was posted on youtube that its an atmospheric intro for super 70s, as he wasn't willing to blast into the song, but to create a path to it

It's probably too swifty to judge by hearing similar melody for a few seconds, but to me it sounded like this piece is Andy's interpretation of John Mayer's Slow Dancing in a Burning Room. But also, it creates a great performance overall to lead to super 70s.
