Thanks for the lesson. Adding the little intro riff really helps. I do prefer going G - D - Am - C rather than C for two bars, and encourage other beginners to try it out as well. It just adds a little extra to that part.

Way back in the day, I played the bass part for this song in the band I was in. I'm working with a baritone ukulele now, and this song is more simple than I thought it woulds be. Good song to add to the list. The riff works pretty well off the D string, especially when you don't have an A string or low E string to worry about. 🙂 I tune D, G, B, E Now I need to go find the words...

Finest Worksong might be easier. Most of the song is carried by a Bsus4 chord, with an E and F# in the chorus and an A in the bridge. There’s no real lead guitar, except for some seemingly random harmonics and guitar noises in the outro.
