One critique about this video is when he says to tell the client that you're not familiar with credit and finance. You close more deals when your clients believe you're an expert. You can't be an expert if you don't understand aspects of your industry. If up until this point you've done everything to create certainty with your clients, if they trust you as a professional, openly admitting that you're uneducated about an aspect of the numbers you're presenting them will absolutely raise alarms with the client and you'll get caught in that lie. If not caught, you'll create speculation and doubt.

I have gotten this question so much lately. Or they come in requesting 0%. I would freeze up at first and go running to the tower asking about what the rate would be. But now I am stronger to just say that I don't handle that part of the process. I like what you said and I will add that to my notebook of word tracks tattooed onto my heart. Great job!!

Before placing an order, I negotiated over the phone and simply asked the saleswoman what the rate would be. She asked the finance guy and gave me their current rate over the phone based on my verbal credit score. The rate was very competitive. Obviously it wasn't binding, because I haven't signed any paperwork yet, but I received a straightforward answer to a simple question that allows me to run my own numbers and make sure it will fit into the budget. Now I have to wait for the vehicle to be built, but barring any disasters she's earned my business.

I had a manager tell me (over the phone) my rate would be 4.99% when I told him I could get half of that at my credit union. He said how about 3.89%...I said again my credit union is better....He now says how is 2.89%..I told him thats a great rate for some people but not me...My credit union is 2.19% and he said what if I can match that. Answer this question salespeople...why doesnt he just tell me he can match the rate and not make himself look like the tools that you are all......trying to get more money off me...needless to say I didn't buy from him
