48 year old guy here that’s played guitar for over 34 years and I’m still taken back at how I can still find these amazing gems of musicians after all these years. Not just finding technically efficient players but ones that can really move me musically with their emotion. Right now I’ve only listened up to Becoming The Dream and getting enormous Vinnie Moore influences here and absolutely love it. Vinnie is one of the Shrapnel studs I grew up idolizing and love that I’ve found someone that has some of that Vinnie flare with every bit, if not more, technical aptitude as he has dare I say. I knew of Andy for a little bit but never dived into his solo works shame on me. I loved the work he’s done with one of my other favorite guitarists and buddy Paul Wardingham. I can’t wait to explore Andy’s works to the fullest extent. If you’re reading this Andy I am now a full fledge fan and can’t wait to hear more from you brother. So far this album is a complete masterpiece. Update….realizing song #9 HAS Paul playing on it 😂. Wow what a pleasant surprise I can’t wait to ask him about his collaborations with you! This album is an absolute crusher there’s not a dead spot on it Andy. One of my new favorites brother. I’m now subscribed 😊. Update #2….annnnnd you have Jeff Loomis on this album too…another one of my current favorites…how did I miss so hugely on you for so long Andy? Lol wow my apologies my friend. I’ll be listening and watching from now on! Can’t get enough of this album. Gets me excited about music again. Thank you.

Ok... that's my 2nd comment here but I have no choice to write it down. I'm 43 Years old and going soon on my 44th. I've been listening to metal music since I was 14 years old. Back in the 90's when I was in high school I was listening to Death, Cynic, Canibal Corpse, Hypocrisy, Cradle of FIlth, Amorphis and the list goes on. I was also in high school with Jean-François Dagenais from Kataklysm. He helped me recording a demo with my band at this time. Well I do it rarely but I fell I have to mark this album as a Masterpiece. I've only heard a few albums that had such a place in my long list but this one even if it's mainly instrumental is (In my opinion) a true piece of art and it's also perfect in all points. Andy, you are a genius. Thanks for this album !!!! Cheers from Montréal, Canada.

Wow, thank you so much Patrick. It really means a lot to get comments like this. I know this album won't get the attention a lot of other big label releases get, but to hear that it's resonating so much with the people who do hear it means the world to me. Cheers.

@@KytexEdits I wrote the drums as MIDI first and sent them over to Samus as a guide. Although he stayed quite true to the original, I did give him the freedom to do what he wanted and you can really feel the difference, especially in all the little fills and inflections he puts in. I actually just shot a new "Inside the Project" video for a song from Neverafter (to be released soon) where I compare my demo drums to his final takes!

I heard the news about your eviction from Mors Principium Est... I hope you are getting better and better, getting out from all that stress and all. Deeply... Your album is a true masterpiece of melodies. The use of keyboards is on point, I can already feel the story you're telling with your music. The work on guitars is perfect, no bullshit solos or demonstration of useless technique. It's all about the music. The lead guitars are gorgeous. Some harmonies remind me that you are the soul of MPE. And this is why your album is telling us something, a story I want to live again, so I press "repeat" ^^ And the work of Samus on the drums is great, blasting a bit, "SEX !" (sorry...), delivering great fills and various patterns all along this journey. I hope you will be able to work together again. I wish you the best for your next moves, I will look forward for your future works. Best regards from France. I hope I'll see you someday on stage.
