He would’ve been out of the league if not for doc long before he was. Yes he turned into a decent bench guy, but he was bad for so long any other team would have already given up on him by the time he became one.

New Orleans: Whomever decided on that Rivers pick (missing out Harkless, Founier, Crowder , Draymond...ok not that much talent after AD to be honest), I'm sure he got his ass fired soon after

he is a good player but not every number 1ranked player in high school is going to be a superstar

Maybe the problem was he received advice from Doc Rivers.

I watched AR a lot live when he was in HS and I couldn't understand why he was ranked #1. He was good but to me Anthony Davis had much more of an upside.

Nobody thought he was ging to be a superstar except his fans. I don't think NO drafted him because Doc Rivers is his old man. Nepotism is getting something because a relative is in a position to benefit you due to the relation. Doc traded for a backup PG that just so happened to be his son, and his numbers in LA kinda justified the move. I seriously doubt that he could spend 12 years in the NBA just because of his daddy. Teams seemed to have felt he was good enough to keep around. The NBA is full of father-son connections, be it player to player, exec to player or coach to player.

I’m sorry…youre saying Doc Rivers wanted a back up PG and he signed a back up PG who happened to be his son? Just happened to be his son? Just coincidence?? So when a cop wants to give someone a break and not give them a ticket, its just a coincidence when that someone is their son? I’m moving to North Korea if this is how my fellow country men think.
