The ICM kits are great ! I recently built their 1/48 Invader with ground crew and pilots and it is truly a beautiful piece of work.

My father was a member of the medical developement group for the pods. He said they could have a field hospital up and running within 30 minutes. One pod was the OR, another x-ray, laboratory, pharmacy... First time I heard of "modular design."

'Sanka' is the German military term for 'Sanitätskraftwagen' (military ambulance). I think they have a great website and a lot of really cool models! Is there a chance that you get the ICM 35606 Firetruck back in stock?

ICM is on my radar and I'm sure I'll be shoving some $ their way. The Model A really looks interesting, that said, I wish they would offer a 2 or 4 door sedan, something I don't think is offered by anyone.

Waiting on them to bring the CH-54 out in 1/72. Bit more manageable as far as shelf space. Still sizeable in that scale

1. Pre war I had some great emails with ICM folks. I sent photos of some of my ICM builds and they enjoyed my work. 2. Please do a story on ICM and how they can make toys while in an area we are told is on the verge of WW III.....very confusing to those of us that have studied WW II history and how it shut down the world. Thanks

I ordered a Ghost of Ukraine kit directly from them in 2022, in somewhat of the worst time for Ukraine. I got it in about 2 weeks, about normal shipping time to US from Europe. Slava Ukraine. 🇺🇦

@@kudukilla Spirit is great but the fact we need to send Ukraine $175 BILLION US dollars to just keep them alive is still confusing me that they are able to produce toys.....even cutting new molds for new toys!!! NO ONE else is confused over this math??? Hmmmmm

Flak Bait was the most widely known B-26 from WW2. I'll be waiting for that version to come out. I've built several ICM vehicles and generally they have good detail and go together well, but it seems like on just about every kit, I get to a step where there is a tiny little fiddly part, and the instructions aren't clear at all about the installation. Other than that, I support them as much as I possibly can because they're operating under wartime conditions and doing a great job.

thanks Addy... I got a vintage Revell 48th B-26 but lack of clear canopy.. looks like this new ICM B26 with extra canopy could save my Revell kit.

Not sure about 1/48, but they are doing it in 1/72, but won't be out until 2025

I am not familiar with ICM paints. Are they in eye drop bottles?

The bottles don’t have dropper tops. The lids have a small raised ring on the underside that holds a few drops of paint that you can dip a brush into.

9:34 the "Tetris blocks" are the latest "fashion" in camouflage. I guess Ukrainian army vehicles being shown all the time contributed to this.

Everyone I talk to says the exact same line..... "ICM kits from the 90s are better than the modern ones they put out" How in gods name could that be possible? They all complain about severe fitting issues as the primary complaint. The kits they make you really cant find with any other manufacturer. Im so on the fence with buying an ICM kit. HEEEEEELP!

I'd flip that statement around, the kits they are putting out now are much better than the ones from the 90's. I recently finished ICM' 1/32 Gloster Gladiator and the 1/35th Studebaker US6 and they went together with no drama.

I haven't built any of their 90s stuff, but I have built about half a dozen of their modern kits, including 1 helicopter and the rest vehicles. I have found them to be a great value. They are not Tamiya quality, but they are still very good and for a fraction of Tamiya prices. The only concern I have is that occasionally I find their instructions to be a little bit unclear, especially when dealing with really small parts. My advice is to buy one of their kits and see for yourself.

Most of the ICM kits from the 90s were reboxes of other manufactures kits. A lot of their armor and aircraft were Dragon kit. What they are putting out today are light years better than back then

It's a shame that this Dardenelles set is a completely wasted opportunity. It's just the British infantry set 35684 and the Vickers MG team 35713 and the Turkish set 35700 repackaged. Now the bits that could potentially make it Gallipoli ie Digger Hats /Lemon Squeezers( I apologise to our ANZAC comrades as I can't remember it's proper name) are in a different set. Now if they'd done two sets of "PROPER ANZACS" in multiple combat poses, shooting, bayonet fighting/close quarter stuf with bayonets/entrenching tools like Lone Pine or Chunuk Bair etc now that would have piqued my interest. and I'd have bought a couple of sets. I've been wanting to do a Lone Pine dio for ages but with the figures out there it can't be done. Now when you consider the three countries who made up the main protaganists- Germany, France, The British Empire it's a pretty dreadful showing! Five British sets but one's a duplicate just wearing gas masks so four. The main British set are all pretty much identical in pose and unimposing. The Dardanelles set has four ANZACS standing about not really doing much. Germany has six sets. One in gas masks so drop that to five and one's in body armour which was uncommon so of no real use so call that four. The MG set has to wear backpacks unless you construct some webbing. They're in a defensive position so why would they need CEMO? The French get six and a taxi. The Americans get 15 including seven vehicles. Now I'm not going to get into the whole who fought longest etc as that's opening a can of worms and I don't want to get into an argument BUT it seems pretty stupid to me to release a "Dardanelles" set that has no ANZAC's or the ability to build ANZAC's. While the British took the higher casualtiies in Gallipoli (proven) it will always be regarded as an ANZAC battle where they distinguished themselves. heroically.. Yes, ICM I realise that the US probably make up the bigger part of your sales market BUT how about releasing figure sets that are representative of that war. British Empire troops look very similar albeit they occasionally wore national headgear but mainly brodie helmets to stop lumps of shrapnel embedding itself in their skulls? Instead of a lazy bit of Friday afternoon marketting actually think"Hang on the British Empire/ German Empire's uniforms didn't really change in 4 years apart from steel helmets instead of felt hats and leather pickelhaubes. How about we do some dynamic/ fighting/ killing figures instead of lots of Americans standing about doing nothing? Day one of the Somme July 1st 1916- In excess of 19,000 British troops dead-40,000 wounded.-That's in one day. Come on ICM, aside from this being a hobby it gives us a chance in our own way to pay our respects. Two of my gt grandfathers were wounded on the Western Front so to me it's personal. I'd be interested to know what others think. Especially Aussies and Kiwis. Please note I'm not having a poke at any nationality just ICM's lazy, wrong and pointless Dardanelles set.
