Now that I have decided to get Adobe Illustrator again, I would like to know what you think if I had to use it for drawing architecture floorplans! Please advise and once again thank you so much.

Hey there! Thank you for commenting! My knowledge on architecture is very limited, but I have a few friends who are architects and I never seen them using Illustrator to draw floorplans, they always use CAD software. But I did see them using Illustrator or Photoshop to build presentations for clients! I believe it's possible to do it in Illustrator, but I'm sure it will lack some, let's say, "quality of life" features :) Hope it helps!
