This zoo is doing an amazing job caring for these gorillas. Their enclosure is beautifully maintained, they are able to search for food and have plenty, and their coats are healthy and shiny. At other zoos you see the gorillas picking at their skin, sores all over, within enclosures of dirt with very little vegetation-like at Kyoto zoo.

Yeah.. Japan really needs to do better with their gorilla habitats. It's a real problem. They definitely should look at Taiwan to see how they can be better.

WOW 👏 That was precious 😍 The baby with the deer was the icing on the cake 🎂. Lots of sibling rivalry, but they are hilarious 😆 Iriki has become very brave, I mean stealing the already snatched food from Djeeco!!! Well that was something, and to do it twice????? Loved the video footage ❤

Great job with this video!!! I love the sound effects and subtitles etc. Well worth the wait! It sure looks like Tayari is jealous of Iriki's elevated status. Did T jump from the tree or did she fall? Hilarious that D'Jeeco got the branch. Lol and then Iriki tried to take it away from him. Too funny! It looks like Iriki is not as withdrawn as before. I loved where she played with Jabali and still held Ringo. Jabali is 100% fierce and will try any adventure once. Ringo looks like he can't believe this great big world he sees with his big shiney eyes.

Much different mother son relationship between Tayari and Jabali than with Genki and Kintaro at another zoo. Iriki and Ringo are more like them. Loved Jabali and his new "girlfriend"! Cutest thing in the world.

Yes! Genki would not let anyone near Kintaro. He’s bigger now and swinging from the rafters but he still gets that sulking face especially if he wants to nurse. Jabali is so fearless!

Jabali is so gentle with the muntjac's. Such a sweet little Gorilla-Boy. Iriki and Ringo look great. Ringo is a big boy and seems very alert and developed & seems soon he will be playing with Brother Jabali and the muntjac's. I STILL think it's only a matter of time before Jabali is riding on the back of the muntjac as he giggles and trots by Mom. Great Video, Andy. I love the caption's you add. So true and funny. If you mean those caption is human emotion, well the who add the caption is not the zookeeper but just a zoo visitor who filmed the gorillas. He add that caption to make his video fun, this is not natgeo channel to give education, it just youtube.
