Outstanding teaching! Once again hitting it out of the park by making crooked paths straight and rooting out even unconscious error with right and clear explanations. Oh, those precious "aha" moments! I am continually learning how much more there is to know and that I CAN grow and follow The Way I thank God for good shepherds who help us grow in Christ, to better know our Beloved and be conformed to His image May the LORD bless Pastor Andy and the Sugarland congregation and continue to flow through you all to lift up much fruit, bringing glory to our Savior 🙏❤️🐑

Great series. Zechariah 7:13 is a verse i stumbled across this week that validates man has a free will as autonomous creatures just as God is autonomous. Additional ammo for your point about being made in Gods image.

We are told in the New Testament to not put a stumbling block in the path of another that leads them to sin. The Calvinist teaching of causality by God has Him defiling his own command making him akin to an accessory to a crime which makes him guilty of wrongdoing which is known as sinning. No one wants to be blunt and just say Calvinism is a different gospel and is not of God at all. As for those who follow its teachings, are they saved ??? If they have always looked to their works and have added them to their faith as how they are saved , then likely they are not. Many , I believe, did initially place their faith alone in Christ but then were taken down a Calvinist/ Lordship salvation detour and subsequently have shifted their focus from Christ alone to themselves and their works and are saved but trapped in added erroneous beliefs to what they first had learned. This is a huge problem and few will neither admit it or address it as Pastor Andy does.

43:00 It reminds me of what Adam said when God confronted him about his condition after the fall, "It was the fault of the woman you gave me." Blaming both Eve and God instead of taking responsibility. The Calvinist is doing the same thing when he says God causes all things.
