Maddie Blair then as a cheer leader you should know cheering isn’t about what youre okay with or comfortable with it’s about the audience. All cheer squads know that if one person is different the attention goes to them and judged by one instead of a whole.

Yeah I only payed attention to her during the jumps and I noticed she couldn’t do them so well as well as her little kick back.

My point is is that when someone is being pointed out then everyone is just focusing on just them and if they are too good then people will think it’s not fair and if she messes up then people will definitely see that.

Hi, I don't know if anyone will see this but I used to be on this team & I haven't watched this video since last year so thank you for posting this. Being on that team gave me one of the best opportunities of my entire life & while I understand that painting her green might have been a bit eye-catching, that was the point, we wanted our team to have that factor & do something no one else had done before. That was my senior year & I still have not gotten over how many people would come up to us to say they loved our performance or having other teams compliment us. That routine was something extremely special to be a part of and I am so happy I stumbled upon this today

i really liked the idea for this but if u didn’t know this was a wicked theme this would make no sense because the girl in green and pink didn’t do anything together that said that they where from the show. like in a stunt or the pyramid it would have been cool to see them do maybe some kinda fight thing or something cool and i just feel like the team was kinda sloppy and the difficulty was very low and it just made the other girls feel less important to the routine and kinda showed who the coaches favorites where

Deleted Account nobody was favorited it this, theyre veterans of our gym and their spots corresponded throughout the whole routine. they do the wicked cover where glinda whispers in elphabas ear in our dance, but it’s a cheer routine, not a dance routine which is why the theme is exactly how the musical goes :))

as far as I know this team started out with the two girls only having 2 different uniforms .. the girl who is painted green is taking the attention off of everyone else I don’t even notice the other girl until I could finally get my eyes off of the green girl.. I just think they should of sticker with the 2 different uniforms for the girls

Leanne Pesht they changed their theme, the only reason those two girls were THE WITCHES were because they were their best flyers. This year is hocus pocus, and they are bomb, though almost the same girls are on that team some moved up

The girl they painted green should’ve been the best. She was drawing my attention, I was only watching her and I thought she wasn’t the best. Her jumps were sloppy, she wasn’t sharp, she wasn’t the best tumbler. I think the person painted in green should’ve been the best since everyone is going to be drawn to that person. No hate, just sharing my opinion.

her tumbling was really good! she was in the front for jumps so that means they must have thought her jumps were good(which they are) they might not have been high but they definitely had good technique! she also had AMAZING facials which really stole the show. so thats why they choose her. also the person in green had to be the flyer so they just picked the best flyer:)

Hi everyone I go to Midwest. This team is wicked claws and yes they went to summit. The girl painted green is the bad witch and one of them is the good witch the one that got the white hoop behind her. This isn't their best routine but this season they r doing better calm down. They do this every year they paint the girl green because that's their team okay calm down also they're level 2 but people think they're level 5

Honestly this theme was a hard choice bc not everyone has seen the play. Imo having a theme is about the props, music and choreo. The girl in a diff uni made me think she was filling in and the girl in the green made me not take the routine seriously. I couldn't stop watching them bc they looked so different. I think they should've just used some props in a few sections to show who was who instead of doing so much lol

So people talk about top gun having over the top and “going to far” themes. Honey, this takes the cake. I didn’t mind the theme. But it almost seemed like everyone else was playing backup to that girl. If you’re going to do such a theme like this and paint an athletes body, at least showcase everyone else and not just her. Like green unis. Etc.
