I really don’t get why people have a problem with baby flyers. Flyers have to fly, and being smaller helps the bases get them up, and helps a bit with their flexibility (smaller frame means it’s easier to pull heelstretches). Like, I know a lot of people say it makes it ‘too easy’. Honey just cause your team doesn’t have tiny flyers and you have to lift a girl who is a little heavier doesn’t make it unfair. It’s not against the rules to have tiny flyers, you just have to get up and stay up.

Why are y’all complaining about the size of the flyers? Y’all do realize that most cheerleading companies don’t want bigger flyers right? It’s harder on the bases and the smaller flyers are easier to deal with. Being a cheerleader myself, you have to be a certain size as well as watch your weight.

Sasha Pierce Personally, I like when teams utilize younger flyers in the air because they typically look cleaner and have better flexibility than bigger flyers. Some of the flyers may be easier to lift in the air, but younger flyers typically struggle with body control or holding their own weight.

Not everything is copying. The scoresheet opened up this year for baskets to have more creativity and everyone wants to win. And cheetahs flyers are aged properly to compete. TopGun's routine has aaaalways been the best in the division, but they have never been strong stunters. Creative stunts and pretty body lines, always, consistency and difficulty not so much.

Serrell Davis Lol i get what you're saying definitely. Idk what it is about Victor and the TGLC coaches, but they definitely cover up their team's weakness with ease. I think they did better this year. Upside down bow & arrow straight to right stretch is HELLA difficult when it's unassisted. Only thing i worry about is them hitting. They've robbed themselves since 2015.

Everyone thinks that because they are “tiny” then they are light and easy to lift and to stunt with. That isn’t the case because yeah you can have a flyer that weighs 70 pounds,yet doesn’t know how to fly so then if feels as they weigh more. As long as the flyer has proper technique and knows how to fly, it shouldn’t matter how much they weigh. So yeah you can be a “tiny” flyer but you still need to know how to fly!

Jordyn Nexus not necessarily! Tiny flyers don’t mean anything! You can have a tall flyer that weighs as much as a tiny flyer! The skill of the flyer matters not the height or weight! You can have a tiny flyer but has no skill...are you going to keep her? No because she doesn’t have skill. I know some very tall flyers that are awesome and then I know some tiny flyers that are awesome as well!
