Hi, a really super informative video on the Packraft Anfibio Revo XL. I have been looking at these with a view to buying one! I have been canoeing/kayaking since I joined my school canoe club way back in 1974 and we built our own fibreglass canoes back then! No H&S safety to worry about back then they would never let 14 year old do that today. And now at 63, I am very fit and active and I still canoe in fair weather today. I digress my question is why the bag inflation system? As this kind of puts me off as looks tricky. And not that easy and looks very time-consuming! Maybe it's not? But can you inflate with a normal pump? If you do so wish. Thanks, for the great video I have learnt so much more from your video, and it has pushed me closer to buying one for sure. Thanks, Kev.

Hi there. The bag is just due to it being light and once you get used to it it isn’t difficult. @@Vildmark Thanks re the pump issue I asked about! Having had so many inflatable boats over the years from very big Avon sports boats to small ones I just found this bag idea a very strange system of inflation but well if it works! That's good enough. Liked re the link you gave on the Microraft MRS sadly I see that model is out of stock right now on the UK website shop, I was looking at it with no date for any being available again. But I think I have to have one basically I still water paddle these days on lakes and slow rivers it would go so well with the e-bike I use these days! Thanks for your super quick answers. @Fellmandave1 they had to order it in? Might as well have gone straight to Anfibio in that case and cut out the middleman. Although they have to deal with customs. I haven’t had any dealings with packraft adventure since the split from tirio.

Very nice review! I like the boat very much but somehow my trousers always get quite wet from paddling. that’s why I think a boat with some cover on top is better than an open one. Do you have water repellent trousers or normal ones?

Thanks for nice review! I'm planning to buy Revo XL for bikepacking. I don't have ay other gear, so do you think Buoy Boy and Anfibio Vertex Tour would be nice addition? :)

It depends on where you will paddle. If your paddling calm water and using it for expeditions then the buoy boy is great. If your paddling white water then I’d recommend the vertex tour or a similar pfd. Concerning bike rafting. Please remember that this raft is not specifically designed for that. @@Vildmark sorry, I haven't check the full text of your comment. Why do you think GP CARGO is better for bikerafting, because of higher buoyancy and loops for lashing the equipment?

It’s designed for carrying weight at the front. A bike will balance better on the front. Check out this video and you’ll see how the bike sits. kzbin.info/www/bejne/np-nfaKFptaXhsU They don’t sit will in rafts not designed for bikes.

@@Vildmark I was hoping inflatable floor in Revo XL will help with balancing the load and buoyancy :( By the way how do Anfibio calculate buoyancy? In specification it is 170kg, but without inflatable floor it will be less?
