Maraming salamat Fern, para na rin akong naglalakad sa mainit na kalsada sa iyong mga lakad. Nakakapagbigay-saya ka sa amin. Kahit hindi mo napapasok ang mga bahay, ok lang. Sa dami na iyong na-i-feature, halos parepareho lang ang mga gamit. Na-intriga lang ako sa bahay ng mga Gosioco, ganoon pala ang istilo ng mga bubong nila noon, wala pa yatang "bricks" noon.

Since bata ang early 70’s favorite nang shooting location ng mga phil movies ang lugar nmin siguro dahil noon ay tahimik talaga dito on my way to school sa Sta. Rita college makikita mo mga actirs jogging around and butin from stores around town giving waves and smiles to oeople around hindi magulo. Our former ancestral house in san matias near Dominican convent was sadly. Turned into a modern house in the 80’s. One of the few heritage houses in Sta Rita, then. But our modren ancestral house was also used to shoot t tv series mga mata ni Angelita

Bukod tlga sa pagiging "Culinary Capital of the Philippines" e maganda rin tlga ang Pampanga. Wla lang tlga time mamasyal dahil after work deretso uwi sa baraks.. Hanggang sa umuwi ako dito samin sa Cavite at dina nkksama sa field dyan sa Pampanga. Pamilyar ako sa mga names ng lugar dahil buong Pampanga hinawakan nmn dati. Ngaun North Pampanga nlang. Sta Rita, Pampanga is a town between Guagua and Porac. You can go to Betis (Guagua) if you take the Dalan Betis (Daan Betis). I think Sta Rita used to be part of the town of Bacolor, Pampanga. Some Pampangueños do not even know the town of Sta Rita exists. They thought it is the barrio in the town of Lubao.

Hello ka tubero!..I couldn't help but notice the elegant incline of the steeply pitched roofing of these ancestral homes..This is a typical characteristic of the bahay na bato, which is asiatic in form and function, but uniquely Filipino as the design has been adapted by the locals during the colonial period..It has both Spanish and chinese influence..If you noticed, the roofing is of corrugated iron sheets ,which were introduced during the American occupation..The older version of the Bahay na bato, (Spanish period)..had brick or clay tile roofing for the wealthier of the citizenry, while the more modest version was fashioned from wooven Nipa or Anahaw..But the steep Pitched high form is the same..This allows natural air to come in and circulate giving the inner space that cooling effect even in a hot summers day..The ventanillas act in the same manner, while the capiz windows, absorb the heat and diffuse the harsh tropical light outside..More power to your vlogs and more heritage homes to come!❤🇵🇭👍

As stated, the Villa EPIPANIA is the best among all the ANCESTRAL HOUSES. FOR ONE IT IS THE BEST PRESERVED. THE FLOORING ARE MADE OF HARDWOOD, SHINING ALL THE TIME UP TO THE PRESENT! I SHOULD KNOW CUZ I LIVE A FEW METERS FROM THE VILLA...FURTHER WHEN WE WERE SMALL, WE FREQUENTED THE PLACE. Gosioco ancestral manor house have a distinctive steep roof line a traditional roof style in the Philippines Bahay Kubo during Spanish era probably this house have a thatch roof made of cogon grass before steep roof was common then because this type of roof keep the ventilaltion cool within the house because houses then don't have ceiling to prevent heat coming from the roof so high or steep roof provide adequate cool ventilation inside the house
