Wow, this is an eye opener talaga. My parents owned a 5 hectares land in the province of zamboanga del norte which I never visited ever. Naririnig ko lang din sa kwento ng nanay ko. Aasikasuhin ko na po talaga yon kahit malayo pa ung area. 38 yrs ng naka tengga ung lupa na yon. Pag nakauwi ako mag ocular inspection ako para malaman kung ano ang klase ng lupa na meron doon at ng maka decide kung ano ang pwede namin itanim. Kudos to this channel!

iT'S very heart warming to hear a land owner who thinks of the farmers. Hope none of those who planted the bananas or work on the farm would also welcome him like the old guy who mentioned Don Manuel's generosity. Here in Zambales, landowners have a problem of the farmers who want to grab the farm from the landowners. In our case, we have a neighbor who claimed a big part of our farm and had it titled to their name. Some of those we paid for their labor come to steal the harvest ha ha. May the Lord from whom all blessings flow continue to bless you more than your heart's desires.. May Sir Buddy work well mentoring you and hope you also have him as your business partner and also benefit much .

It's funny how I keep running into video suggestions from your channel that totally resonate with me. Like Mr. Banzon, I recently returned to my family's estate in Romblon to fulfill a promise I made to my dad. Like him, ako na lang sa pamilya namin ang interesado na madevelop ang naiwang farm na minana pa from my grandparents. Hindi ko na tinitingnan yung land that we own as "our estate" but more of a space to create a self-sufficient community na may kikitain din na sapat ang mga nakatira para ma-improve ang buhay nila. Mr. Banzon is going on an exciting journey. I wish him all the luck -- and I hope he never runs out of mosquito repellant hehehe. Nice place maganda to set up an integrated farm plan like include supply of natural fertilizer from Poultry and Piggery either contract growing or community base growing program Prodution of vermi cast using organic waste generated by the farm withi the area. Also since the owner is fitness guy he can convert the place into a fitness place which provide food with high nutrient content ( High brix ) .

Dapat may chicken at hog farm ka at mga cows din. You need a place to freeze them and process them though. Plant more trees because logs are becoming more expensive and as long term plan too. Manila is becoming more dense so people from Manila will try to get out of manila at least once a week. When Manileans make more money they will travel more. The fact that Tagaytay is too busy, people will try to go to less dense and relaxing areas where to spend the weekend with their family exclusively.

Here is a good example of a huge track of land owned by absentee landlord and non-productive for a very long time. Many more of the same in the Philippines, unlike in USA farmers work the land from dawn to dusk. How can the Philippines feeds its own people with this kind of systems ?
