Hi Jorge. Alam mo ganyan din ako noong bago ako sa USA actually sa LA ako noon. Now sa Utah na. Ganyan ganyan din ako homesick lalo na bagong simula walang friends walang makausap. Pero after nag start akong magwork I gained friends little by little nasanay din ako sa lifestyle sa usa. At sa ka busyhan. Once na nakapag adjust ka maiisip mo na mas okay ang life sa usa. Ako nga umiiyak din gabi gabi dahil sa homesickness ko. Now okay na ako nakilala ko pa si husband ko now dito na ako sa Utah! Ingat palagi always pray and I'm sure masasanay ka din.

I can relate to ur stories 16 years ago when i was knew in Canada all the sadness and longing for my family back home almost lead me to end myself but thank GOD he was there to uplift me and gave me courage to overcome all my depression in life and then happy and good things in life gradually coming …God gave me a jood job…nice friends and extended families that help me a lot…so be strong and always pray…hug and kisses…GOD BLESS🤗

I am planning na mag abroad din probably next year kasi para sakin yun yung way para makatakas sa mga problema ko dito, emotionally. Pero watching your vlog, parang nakikita ko na sarili ko sayo once itinuloy ko. Mahina din kasi talaga ang loob ko. Madaling pasukan ng lungkot. Marami ako naririnig sa mga kakilala ko na mahirap sa abroad kasi malungkot. Pero dedma ko lang dati kasi hindi pa naman ako nakakaranas sa ganung sitwasyon. Sa simula lang naman siguro. Need mo siguro maghanap ng mapagkaka abalahan para ma-divert ang isip mo sa ibang bagay. Pwede ka magwork, part time. Or kung nahihirapan ka man maghanap, pwede mo ituloy ang pag vvlog. Hindi madali ang depression kasi dala-dala ko din siya hanggang ngayon. Ang dali mag advice sa ibang tao kung ano dapat gawin pero kapag ikaw na mismo yung nasa sitwasyon bakit parang ang hirap.😢

Bilang may Depression din ako, ay gusto ko lang sabihin na- . . . . 1. Kuya Jorge, Mahal ka namin at Nan dito lang kami para sayo 2. Hindi masamang tao ang may depression, kapag nadapa ka ay lalagyan mo ng gamot at kapag depressed ka ay magpapa therapy ka. Meaning, parehas lang yang sakit, ang pinagka iba lang ay external yung isa at internal yung isa 3. Kung hindi ka nasa tamang mental state, para mag upload ng mga videos ay okay lang. It's homesickness, may reasons behind that and that's culture shock and simply missing the comfort zone we have back home. And it's normal. Being homesick doesn't mean you have clinical depression although pwede itong maging factor. Iba ang clinical depression na kahit walang reason, malungkot ka. With that may something sa brains mo na imbalanced ang level ng neurotransmitters na nag ko control bg emotions mo.

bhie ano ba status mo dito sa US? I myself migrated to the US with working visa years ago. I am alone. The first few months was the hardest. Homesickness is real. But work kept me busy and meeting new friends and then later old friends from Pinas arrived here. that helped a lot. I notice you dont have a permanent job pa yata? So dami mo idle time. Thats not good for your mental health. A busy mind at least preoccupies your mind with work. Good luck!

Don’t worry leaving the United States is very very depressing within the next five years I’ve been in the situation that I almost wanna go back to the Philippines but since then it’s been 40 years and I haven’t seen the Philippines and now I’m 65 life is better here in the United States. It is more comfortable. You can buy everything that you need and want and it’s the best place to live on earth Going back to the Philippines to take vacations only for a brief period of time.

I am fan of yours even before pa yung energy mo and happiness makikita talaga pero this vlog nawala lahat ang saya sa mukha mo. Mee too I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder. I lock myself in a room and I don't want to talk to people. I lost all my hopes motivation. And all wala na akong gana sa lahat.. I come to a point that I heard a lot in my mind na wala akong kwentas bat pa ako nabubuhay and I was about to end up mylife I was crying kasi I saw myself in the mirror holding a knife 😢😢😢 nabitawan ko ang knife I was crying kasi I know it's not me anymore. Kaya I went to a psychologist and diagnosed with clinical depression and high level of anxiety he refer me to a psychiatrist and I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder And until now I am taking my meds. Thankyou kainang sa pag share love ka namin only us can understand
