The first readings is from the letter to the Hebrew. We are being reminded by the first readings to have faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. A blessed am Rev. Fr. DouglasD. Badong: Thank you for sharing another reflection on the reading today.. The Holy Spirit reminded us not to be hard-- headed to God bec it signifies stubborn refusal to His guidance w/c can hinder our spiritual growth, prevent us from receiving His blessings and it is cosidered a serious offense in many religious texts and is always linked to pride and rebellion against God. The first reading tells us to persevere in faith to avoid falling away from God. We should follow God's teachings/ commandments always. Thank you Rev. Fr.
