The funny things are, during fiesta, 1 goat, one pig and the marinated carabao meat, there, I can see tomatoe sauce, green peas and catsups. My grandpa would peel a coconot branch for toothpicks and hang it near the dining table

My Lola spends 40 cents a week, only for the petroleum, she makes, soap, cooking oil out of coconut milk, fish was always available in the seashore, you just overturn the coral rocks, you will have fish for a day, shampoos was coco milk and calamansi, near the well of lime water. Ordinary vegie was papaya with coco milk and fish paste. It whitens their skin, lol, no need of glutathene

A neighbor town old woman will stay for free within 9 days of the Novena for St. Anthony, then, its feast day can come and eat after mass. After the fiesta, she told me to let my uncle make copra and get the money for my fare back to Manila. Said, you've got to work from what you learned, since these products I made are already bought into plastic sachets, there by her problem of waste and put in a burning pit. That is an island resources. In Japan its all bought. Even going to a nearby shore and the fish and seashells cannot be eaten. Toxic????
