Rice Cooker Banana Cake
The primary ingredient of this cake is an overripe banana. This cake is very simple and you can make this as a one layer cake or cupcakes. You can also cook this cake in a frying pan, turbo broiler and steam but rice cooker cake is back on trend. Yes rice cooker is not for cooking rice only but you can cook meals and cakes too.
ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup cooking oil
3 pcs. overripe bananas(bungulan)
1/2 cup buttermilk(1/2 cup milk + 1/2 tbsp white vinegar)
1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Thanks for sharing. As a test I tried half of the box of Chocolate Cake mix. Turned on the rice cooker. 5 mins later it turned to warm. Waited for about 10 mins. then turned to cook again. Just after a min. it turned to warm again. I got annoyed. I left it to warm setting. Came back and checked after 40 mins, it was not done yet. After 1hr and 15 mins. from the start of cooking time, my mini cake was perfectly done. It tasted like it was baked in an oven. Big thumbs up. I don't have to turn on the oven. Maybe the cooking time will be longer for the whole box of the cake mix. Banana Cake will be next.
