Ange made some interesting comments which reminded me when he up and left the Australian National Team. He mentions the last 48 hours and also outside and inside. If he does not get the full backing of the Club and the Board, Spurs will lose him. That is guaranteed. He won't piss fart around waiting to get the sack. Ange is on a mission and you need to get behind him.

I as an Aussie fan completely agree, Ange has a complete winning mentality. It is win and not coneed games, having that mindset destroys the total mentality of being a winning team. Some of the Spurs fans don't get that, you can't turn off and turn on a winning mentality whenever you like.

@@lionheart4552 lol shows you are not a follower of Ange, my friend was coached by him at Moreland Zebras (a semi-amateur team when he was still new to coaching). When his plans don't work, it means you aren't hitting his philosophy right, if you look at him in the J-League, his first season they nearly got relegated, but he stuck to his guns, the club supported him and they became serial winners. The first season with Ange is always the most difficult, trust me I know as a Melbourne Victory supporter (who he also coached), and a Socceroos fan. I have seen him go ballistic at his Hoops team from a win because they didn't play his philosophy and be absolutely calm when they are trashed even if they play his philosophy. He is the only man who can bring success to Spurs, they need to absolutely believe in him and his philosophy, as demonstrated at Brisbane Roar, Melbourne Victory, Yokohama & Celtic FC. He's got the good mate

@wavavoom agree 👍. As a Roar supporter he took the club to the greatest heights. Classic first half jitters then second half clinic's with gutsy last minutes. I really hope the dramatic EPL doesn't give him the run around and he gets a real chance to get this team running smoothly.

Anyone that’s upset by Ange being angry needs to think to themselves. Do I want a manager that cares so much that losing a match makes him very upset. Or do I want a manager that is happy with mediocrity and laughs at poor results. I choose the guy that actually wants to change the club. That’s the guy you back.

Spot on. Spurs have a manager who clearly cares deeply about winning, establishing a winning culture, has been more than clear about what he stands for and what his demands and expectations are from everyone. It’s not a guarantee of success but following a template that gives you the best chance of success. Cheering your rival to win against another opponent to advance your team’s cause makes sense (albeit through gritted teeth). Cheering for YOUR TEAM TO LOSE? What sort of f’d up small minded mentality is that? I’m not surprised that Ange is beyond peeved at sections of the club and the fan base. As someone else has noted, for Spurs’ sake I hope he doesn’t see this challenge in mindset shifting as being unchangable, as he’ll walk away without issue or concern. And that would be a shame for Spurs, and more their loss than his.

I don’t disagree with you @@lionheart4552 - Ange should be given a solid go, and if he can’t cut the mustard then yes he should go elsewhere. Funnily enough, when Ange started managing Spurs, the knockers talked about how he had only managed in farmers leagues. Yet the concept of actively cheering for your team to lose to spite your rivals is equally uncompetitive and basic. Interesting parallels.

Obviously you’re an armchair fan and do not live amongst other football rival fans go to work with them and spend time with them on a daily basis. It was not the Tottenham fans disgrace that we had lost to Fulham, Newcastle, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea in the last couple of months . The Tottenham fans were at every single one of them games behind their team wanting them to do the best And then expect them to pull out an unbelievable result against Manchester City and then hear your rival football fans on a daily basis giving you shit for on the off chance you might qualify for the Champions League . The Tottenham fans spend a lot of money time and resources following their football club and for you to call them the disgrace maybe you should give your head a wobble . The Tottenham fans should never be blamed for the failure of the club.

I learned 42 years ago that loving what you do, even if you fail, is more important than hating other people. I'm not going to tell everyone else what their own unique emotional make ups will make them favour, but belonging to me is a more important emotion than hatred. If I hate something or someone, I simply ignore it, unless it must be confronted for behaving unacceptably. I actually enjoyed the first half of yesterday's game almost as much as any game this season: the team played to win against the toughest opponent going and more than held their own for 98 of 100 minutes. But, against the toughest opponent, switching off for 30 seconds in minute 51, not scoring a one-on-one with the goalkeeper, and being caught on the break chasing the game late on, conceding a penalty, is the difference between losing and not. It was fine margins, not an ocean of difference. A few players are down on confidence, but the ability to compete wasn't the issue last night. Having a winning mentality maybe was....

' Top Club in Premiere League'......by what definition? Trophy Cabinet is awfully dusty. A club taking up space in the Premiere league is how I'd define it. Everyone is in a position to choose any direction they wish to take. If Ange finds one the key elements of success is totally absent from a club , he sure won't waste his time with them . Ange I'm sure appreciates an opportunity to coach at the top level, but if the support ain't there for success....then....goodbye. Are you saying being an Aussie is in some way a disadvantage or something? We are all people doesn't matter where we are from, capable of whatever we choose to do , and should be respected for that no matter race or religion. ....but celebrating a loss? Come on ? Is this what makes Tottenham a top club in the Premiere league? Ange ain't just chasing trophies , he is chasing the challenges to bring the trophies. He HAS taken up the opportunity ! Tottenham is one huge challenge considering what he is up against. Fans supporting mediocrity . All the previous coaches sacked by Tottenham can't be all wrong. I think Tottenham are super lucky to have found him and you better get on board the Ange train! Train now departing Loserville station for Future Success......it's a roller coaster ride!

If this was 10 games in other big clubs might have taken a chance on him. Not now with the way he is handling himself. If he goes now no bigger club than Tottenham would hire him. He would need to prove that he has what it takes on this level. The jury is still out for the rest of the world except some deluded aussies that all off a sudden has got big heads and a attitude because they got a manager in the premier league. Tottenham has been at the top of the Premier league for over a decade. Fighting for both domestic trophies and the champions league. Very few clubs have done that. This narrative that Tottenham is a loser team and throphyless is media driven. Its just drivel. There are teams with more money than Tottenham that can offer higher wages. Thats just how it is but Tottenham is as far up the food chain it is possible to get without the very best in the world. These clubs would never hire Ange now. But the CL was never on. Why do people keep talking about it like it’s a genuine option.

Not all Spurs fan are as dumb as you lot mate, trying to throw the game just to hate. Move on or be laughed at by all teams, simple.

Why the fak he wasn't so animated when he played the previous three games and especially arsenal where he didn't get of his bat except in the last ten minutes

He better start well next year and have the team play like yesterday or he will be off especially when he criticised the fans who have been loyal to him when he couldn't get his team to play with this intensity when he played games against lesser teams so he should shut up critising the fans and look himself in the mirror

Ange has a mental problem. Sometimes you have to take one step back to take 2 steps forward . A loss to Man city is not the end of the world but stops Arsenal from winning the title ar our ground. Whats wrong with that. Who remembers the battle at the bridge vs chelsea.
